Traditional math teaching often leaves girls feeling anxious and uninspired, afraid to make mistakes, and convinced they’re bad at math.

In Artful Math camps and math circles, girls learn math through patterns and discovery, not by memorizing rules. Exploration, imagination, and play give girls meaningful new ways to think about math and apply it to their world.

Some of the ingredients in our secret sauce are:

Games with friends help girls improve math skills

Kelli Pearson is a creative and dynamic teacher with 25+ years experience and an unshakeable belief that every girl can be great at math.

She’s a pretty passionate gal, so make sure you’ve got some time on your hands before you ask a question like, “So why do you think girls learn math differently?”

Her superpower is the ability to destroy math anxiety and make any girl fall in love with math.

Math circles are vibrant, playful math groups for girls in grades 1-5. Due to COVID, all math circles are currently being held online.

  • Each week, girls rush to join their friends in games, puzzles and projects that bring math to life
  • Girls learn math naturally, while playing and having fun together 
  • Multi-sensory activities engage all parts of the brain
  • Girls use the math they’re learning in school in new & exciting ways
  • Learn high-level math skills without even realizing it

Rich in exploration, imagination, and play, Discovery Math Camps take boys and girls on a week-long adventure of math discovery and fun!Campers choose from a smorgasbord of activities including nature math, art creations, games, magic tricks,  investigations, projects, and more.**NO CAMPS ARE CURRENTLY SCHEDULED**
